Fitness App
Next Steps is a fitness app created to help college start or continue their fitness journey. Even though there is a focus on college students any individual wanting to find community through fitness is welcome to join. Next Steps is different from other fitness applications due to the view that fitness does not have to be intense. It can be hard for individuals to find the time and money to go to the gym or fitness classes. Next Steps stresses the importance of starting somewhere and to not feel alone.
There are many ways to get involved through Next Steps. On the Fitness Board there are many communities or workouts to be apart of based on age, gender, current physical abilities, and more. For example if the goal is to start by working out twice a week for 30 minutes there are groups to join of like-minded people. Through these groups you are able to make Buddies which is Next Steps way of making friends through the app to celebrate, encourage, and communicate with others.
